Stalin's orginal plan for conquering Germany was to link up with Allies in North Italy and go through Switzerland where the border area was not defended and come up from underneath, the only time the Allies every threatened STalin if he did something, rest of the time the Allies let him do as he pleased

Makes sense....the only reason that Hitler didnt invade Switzerland was the fear that the Swiss might blow their tunnels in the Alps thus cutting his supplies off to Italy and North Africa.
However, if the Allies wanted to they may have ued these tunnels and traveled throguh Switzerland if that area was unguarded.

no one would ever have gone through switzerland... why? because all of the massivley rich had their gold stored there... both Nazis and Allies.

Invading via Switzerland would result in all the big hob nobs loosing allot of money...

one of the underling principles of the Euro is that Europe can never go to war again..... probably why the UK never joined.... there' probably a few old fogies polishing their Spitfires for the big day.... lol
