I just wanna know the opinon...what was the best tank of ALL of World War 2?

Remember: you've got to consider what its role was, did it peform well and its kill ratio (stealthiness is all nice and good but at the end of the day its how many kill marks that are on the end of your barral that get you the stripes!!!) [:D]

The king tiger of course. It had an 88 mm gun!!! (which can get through 6 inch aremour at a racge of 1.24 miles or 2 km)and one machine gun. It also had 7 inches of armour at the front.- However, it had low reliability.

The King Tank sutied its role because at the time of its production Germany was on the defensive and a good sturdy tank like the Konigstiger was the perfect defensive tank.

My dad works in an open cut mine and some of the loading trucks there weigh just as much as a king tiger yet they are much bigger!! It really makes you think just how heivly armored the king tiger really was.
But in no way am I caling the King Tiger small!!!!!!!!

MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM.......vanilla coffee!

Like I said, the pre-war training tanks rocked. Polish thought they actually used them, talk about poor intelligence/spying. :-D

The Vickers Light Tank is the worst tank I have ever seen!!!!!!! Id love to tear one apart witha well aimed 88mm shell fired from a Konigstiger!!!

The worst tank I've read about is the Churchill "Crocodile". It was made for desert combat, but the tracks were so far off, that the dust made from them covered the cockpit. The crew hated the tank actually. They would rather take a Sherman against a Koenigstiger than even drive a Crocodile around.

IIRC Churchill was embarassed because the tank was named after him. Of course this is highly MUTU, as I'm bad with names.
